Our Why

From the beginning of time women were mostly written out of history, their stories vastly unrecorded, or forgotten. Today, despite counting for over half the population, and representing over 90% of purchase influence in their homes, only a third of films and television center around a female lead, and less than 20% of writers in Hollywood are women. We believe women sit at the center of healing much that is broken in our world and storytelling is the most powerful tool through which we can create and build together. They call upon us to imagine a better world, a more equitable future, and a more hopeful tomorrow.
